Changelog 1.0.3

Stability, Access, and Quality of Life Improvements

Update 1.0.3 goes live on 16 June 2026 at 7:00 AM UTC. No downtime is expected.

We've released Update 1.0.3 to improve stability, fix issues that prevented some players from launching the game, and make a few quality-of-life improvements. Here's what's changed.

Stability, Crashes & Access

  • Battle crashes involving bots: We've fixed two crashes that could happen mid-battle, both tied to how the game controls bot tanks: how they move around the map and how they pick their targets. These crashes were most common in PvE, and battles should now run noticeably more stable.
  • PS5 crash at end of battle: PlayStation 5 players sometimes crashed while the game was processing match results. This has been resolved.
  • Anti-virus or security software preventing launch (PC): Some PC players couldn't start the game at all, because certain anti-virus or security software (such as Windows Defender) flagged unsigned game files as suspicious. We've fixed this. If you were stuck on the launcher or saw security warnings, you should now be able to play.
  • Console sign-in for players with a WG account merged across regions: On Xbox and PlayStation 5, players whose WG account was merged from several regional accounts into one profile could be signed in to the wrong region, which blocked them from getting into the game. The game now selects the correct account, so you can sign in and play.

Matchmaking & Onboarding

  • Matchmaking tuning for new and experienced players: We've adjusted matchmaking so new players get more time to learn the game in PvE before facing more experienced opponents, while players who do well in their early matches move into the main PvP queue sooner. This also cuts down wait times for players who are harder to match.

Quality of Life

  • Post-match survey appears less often: We've reduced how often the post-match survey shows up. It now appears roughly once every 20 matches instead of after most battles.
  • Status effect icons now show labels: In battle, the icons for status effects like Burning, Jammed, Slowed, and Irradiated were missing their text labels. They now display correctly, so it's easier to see at a glance what's affecting your vehicle.

  • Project Phoenix tutorial audio restored: The first-time tutorial map was missing its ambient sound in a recent build. It now plays as intended.
