Halloween Chase

Two Top 50 leaderboards every four hours, one solo and one squad. Win Quick Match battles, and your best finish sets your Halloween reward.

It's pumpkin season, and the Halloween Chase turns three days of PvP Quick Match into a race up the leaderboards, from Friday, October 23 at 12:00 UTC to Monday, October 26 at 12:00 UTC. Finish in the Top 50 of any solo or squad board to earn a Halloween reward, and every new window gives you another shot at a higher tier. Play 10 battles over the weekend and three boosters and a Halloween camouflage are yours too, wherever you finish.

How to compete

  • Play regular PvP Quick Match.
  • Climb a four-hour leaderboard. The weekend is split into 18 back-to-back windows, each with a solo and a squad board. Wins set your rank, and total damage breaks ties.
  • Keep climbing. Compete in every window: your best finish all weekend sets your reward tier.

    What you can earn

Rewards come in two tiers, and you get only one of them, set by your best final rank on any leaderboard:

    Final rank Rewards
1–25 Spooky Season skins for the M60A3E2 and T-72SH
    Pumpkin Head for Gambit
26–50 Spooky Season skins for the M60A3E2 and T-72SH

If you already own an item you earn, you get compensation for it instead.

A bundle of three HEAT boosters

Three boosters and a camouflage for 10 battles

Play 10 PvP Quick Match battles over the weekend for one Agent XP Booster, one Tech Booster, one Vehicle XP Booster, and the Pumpkin's Grin (Red) camouflage for the M1150 ABV. Solo and squad battles both count, win or lose. They're yours whether or not you place on a leaderboard.

    When rewards arrive

Leaderboard rewards are granted after the event ends on Monday, October 26 at 12:00 UTC. The boosters and the camouflage are granted as soon as you reach 10 battles, while the event is still running.

    The rules

    What counts

    • Only PvP Quick Match battles that finish with a standard result count, meaning either team wins by points or by rounds. Versus AI mode doesn't count, and neither do battles ended early by a technical issue.
    • Solo battles rank on the solo leaderboard, and squad battles on the squad leaderboard.
    • AI-controlled bots never appear on the leaderboards, and a battle you leave early doesn't count for you.

    Leaderboards

    • A leaderboard ranks only players with at least one win on it. There's no minimum number of battles.
    • Players tied on wins and damage share a rank.
    • Wargaming staff take part on the same terms as everyone else.

    Rewards

    • You earn one reward, at the tier of your best finish on any leaderboard all weekend.
    • Your tier comes from your final rank as the board shows it. If a player above you has a better finish on another board, you don't move up a place.
    • Tied players get the tier of their shared rank, so everyone tied at 25th gets the 1–25 rewards.

    Data and updates

    • A board can keep moving for a short time after its window closes. Its final standings lock once the last results are in.
    • Your stats appear once your first counted battle has been processed.

    FAQ

I placed on a leaderboard. Can I place again?
Yes. If you finish higher on another leaderboard, your reward moves up to that tier. You still get one reward, for your best finish.
    Do battles against bots count?
Quick Match battles count even when AI-controlled bots fill some of the slots. Battles in Versus AI mode don't.
Do I need 10 battles before I can place?
No. One win on a leaderboard gets you ranked on it, your wins decide how high, and the 10 battles are for the boosters and the camouflage.
When do I get my reward?

Leaderboard rewards arrive after the event ends on Monday, October 26 at 12:00 UTC. The boosters and the camouflage come sooner: they're granted as soon as you reach 10 battles.

I already own the Pumpkin Head for Gambit. What happens?
You get compensation for it instead, as you do for any item from your tier that you already own.
Does the Chase count toward my Halloween missions?
Yes. Every Chase battle is a regular PvP Quick Match battle, so your missions keep counting as usual.
