Update 1.1.2 introduces a new game mode, Top 100 leaderboards, and in-battle vehicle rotation, plus Role Point tuning, Operation Phoenix mission improvements, and a wave of fixes. Here's everything that's changed.
Patch Notes 1.1.2
A New Mode, Leaderboards, and In-Battle Vehicle Rotation
New Game Mode: Plant/Defuse
Get ready for something new on the battlefield: Plant/Defuse is here! Plant the charge and hold your ground, or push in and defuse it before time runs out.
Plant/Defuse lives in its own dedicated mode, separate from Quick Match, so every battle you join is packed with other players who picked the same fight. Catch it during special event windows, and keep your eyes peeled for more details coming soon.
Limited-Time Event
Jump in every weekend this August
Plant/Defuse is playable only during these windows. Times are shown in your local time where available, with UTC as the reference.
- Plant/Defuse is a 5v5, round-based tactical mode built around one life per round.
- Attackers carry the bomb and choose where to strike; defenders protect two bomb sites and react to the attack.
- There's no respawning during a round, so positioning and picking your fights carefully is everything.
- Playable on Sunstroke, Scarred City, Blossom Crash, and Eden.
New: Plant/Defuse Leaderboard
A Top 100 leaderboard is now available for Plant/Defuse. From the Leaderboard tab, you can toggle between Plant/Defuse and Quick Match to view the top-ranked players in either mode, along with your own position on the ladder. The Plant/Defuse leaderboard is based on your win rate across all the battles you have completed in the mode. To rank on the leaderboard, you need to play at least 5 battles. More information on the leaderboard for Quick Match below.
New: Top 100 Leaderboard – Quick Match Only
Quick Match has also gained a Top 100 leaderboard that lets you track how you stack up against the best. Accessible from a new Leaderboard tab in the top menu of the Garage, it shows the current highest-performing players for Season 1 as well as your own ranking.
Rankings and respective scores are calculated based on players' average scores over the last 50 battles, which is the number of battles you’ll need to play to place on the leaderboard.
New: In-Battle Vehicle Rotation
Feel the need to switch up your strategy mid-match? Now, during the respawn window after your vehicle is destroyed, you can swap to your Agent's other tank for a fresh approach. Your Agent stays for the whole battle, but each time you come back in, you get to pick whichever of their two vehicles suits the moment best. This feature will not be available for Plant/Defuse mode.
Role Point Changes
- Points for Critical Damage at Range 75 → 60
- Points for Damage at Range 50 → 40
- Points for Damage on Captured Point 5 → 10
Improvements
- We've made several adjustments to the Operation Phoenix tutorial mission to smooth out the experience. Mines have been replaced with hedgehog obstacles, still blocking your path to the experimental tank but without the risk of unnecessary destruction. The ambush attack you encounter along the way has also been made less punishing, with one HSTV-L tank removed. Finally, the railgun experimental tank fight has been made more manageable, with its HP reduced by 40% and its damage output also lowered.
Bug Fixes
Gameplay
- Fixed an issue with the Decoy ability for Hound's LEO 1A6A1 where the Doppelbombe module caused it to only Trace one nearby enemy instead of all enemies within range when the decoy was destroyed.
- Fixed an issue on Flair's LEO 2FK where activating Feign Death while the camera was positioned inside the vehicle could result in parts of the tank blocking the Sniper mode view.
- Fixed an issue with the Decoy ability for Hound's LEO 1A6A1 where the decoy did not deploy a Smoke area on destruction with the Nebeltrick module installed.
- Fixed an issue with Kent's Contracted Strike Ultimate where the Hellfire missile did not track moving targets as it should.
- Fixed an issue where completing Flair or Reaper's 4th progression level did not grant the expected Skill Points.
- Fixed an issue where locked vehicles belonging to Flair incorrectly displayed a "Coming Soon" label, even though the vehicle was already available to unlock.
- Fixed an issue in Control mode where being destroyed right as a base capture completed and the match transitioned to the next round could prevent a player’s vehicle from respawning, locking them out of the following round.
- Fixed an issue where a tank's destruction effect and sound would incorrectly play a second time once the respawn timer ended.
- Fixed an issue where the OBJ. 287's rear hull armor value was set too low and incorrectly displayed as 0 in the in-game visualizer.
Consoles
- Fixed an issue where turret traverse speed and hull rotation speed were slower on gamepad compared to keyboard and mouse.
- Fixed an issue on consoles where speech indicators for Squad members were not displayed for players between vehicle destruction and the Deployment screen.
- Fixed an issue where binding Tactical Map, Shoot, or Alternative Firing to their default buttons (Touchpad, R2, and L2 respectively) incorrectly flagged them as "modified," even though they matched the default settings.
- Fixed an issue on PS5 where activating or deactivating the LEO 2KST's Active Camo ability could sometimes cause the game to crash.
